Make Your Laser Printer Ink Last Longer
Optimizing the supplies in your business or home is necessary to achieve a high level of quality and save money in the long run. Laser printer ink is a large expense, and it is important to conserve as much as possible. Different techniques can help make your laser printer ink last longer while maintaining the same legibility that you desire.
There are several ways to conserve the ink in your printer to save money and reduce hassle. First, try using the draft option when printing, as this uses less ink per page. If you are printing notes for a class or a document that does not require a high print quality, this option can cut your ink usage significantly. Also, make sure that you print in black and white instead of color. Color uses excessive ink and costs more money than black and white. Finally, print only those pages that are absolutely necessary. Saving a few sheets each week can add up to hundreds in a year.
Conservation is very important with your technological devices, and helps to save money for you and your business. Ink and toner are a significant expense; reducing the amount of ink or toner that you use can save a lot of money. Implement these techniques with your printer to extend the longevity of your ink.

Save Huge on Laser Ink Cartridges

I absolutely agree with what was said, but this also transfers to ink jet printers as well. Almost all printers use different cartridges for color and normal black and white, each costing differently. Color normally costs more, so printing in just black and white and using the black and white cartridge will indeed save you money because you will have to replace only the black and white cartridge. Also, the draft option saves ink because the printer puts less ink on the paper, resulting in saving ink but a worse quality print. If you are printing just text then you will be fine and no one will notice, but do not use draft for graphic prints, it will be very noticeable. - someonecool on 3/23/2012
This is some very useful information. Ink is just one of many things that are increasing in cost nowadays, and any way to save money and cut back is good. - MasterSeal on 3/30/2012
Love this blog, very informative! I find it so obnoxious to keep changing the ink cartridges and in a small business, we do it quite often. I've never thought of using the draft option before, I'll give that a shot! - xoraerae on 4/6/2012
